Celebrity Series is excited to celebrate the power of the performing arts to unite, delight, and inspire our communities, the future of live performance, and our contributions to the Greater Boston cultural experience with guests at our annual SHINE! Gala. We welcome you to join us for this special evening!

Guests will share in cocktail hour, dinner by The Catered Affair, artist performances and surprises, and an artist-to-guest interactive dance party. Connect with folks who love, are curious about, support, and/or express themselves through the performing arts!

This is a Black Tie event. Dress to impress, and don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Support of the 2024 SHINE! Gala

  • supports Celebrity Series’ acclaimed Arts for All! Community programs, including our Neighborhood Arts performances, that provide vital employment opportunities for local Boston-based artists in communities that have been historically underserved by the arts;
  • encourages Celebrity Series’ ongoing efforts to center equity, diversity, and inclusion in our mission and invest in partnerships with diverse vendors, artists, and community partners;
  • underwrites Celebrity Series’ work on the live performance stage, and contributions to Greater Boston cultural experiences;
  • and ensures that Celebrity Series remains strong and resilient in our changed and ever-changing environment.

Gala Donations

If you are unable to attend the SHINE! Gala, Celebrity Series will gladly accept fully tax-deductible donations in support of the event. Donations committed before December 22 will be recognized on the event invitations.

SHINE! for All 

The SHINE! Gala is one of Boston’s premiere celebrations of the power of the performing arts. In celebration of our role as a leader and convener of arts organizations, each year Celebrity Series invites local artists and cultural leaders to attend the gala as hosted guests through the SHINE! for All initiative. If you would like to make it possible for a local artist or cultural leader to attend, you may purchase a SHINE! for All ticket for a single attendee at $1,250, a pair of tickets at $2,500, or a SHINE! for ALL 6-person table for $7,500. Since there is no personal benefit received, SHINE! for All tickets are eligible to be paid fully via Donor Advised Fund.
